Alex received her undergraduate degree from the University of Windsor where she majored in Kinesiology and minored in Psychology. Alex has always been passionate about scholastics, and athletics. Currently, Alex is a second-year student pursuing a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. Alex chose to pursue an education in occupational therapy as it is a holistic health are profession and would allow her to enhance the lives of others. Her research focus is on traumatic brain injury, mental health and addictions, and discharge planning with criminalized individuals. The study is titled “Traumatic brain injury and criminalized individuals: Identifying best practices for communication partner training across the justice system”.
