Jen is a registered occupational therapist and the research project officer for the Acquired Brain Injury Research Lab and the Traumatic Brain Injury in Underserved Populations Research Program. She has been conducting qualitative and mixed methods research studies within the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (OS & OT) for four years and is currently involved in research on TBI and homelessness; belonging and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities; and occupational therapy and student mental health.
Jen graduated from the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto where she received the Most Outstanding Research Project Award for her research project which focused on the potential of a model of service in addressing occupational imbalance and deprivation and social isolation in secure psychiatric settings.
She contributes to the research-related, knowledge transfer, and administrative activities of the ABI Research Lab.
